Grand Knight of Valour
The Grand Knight of Valour award, locally known as Darjah Kebesaran Seri Pahlawan Gagah Perkasa (S.P.) is in the form of a silver medal in the shape of a crescent moon with three layers. In the middle layer is the inscription "Gagah Perkasa" and within the moon is a fourteen-pointed star. Both ends of the crescent moon is linked by a carving design where it is attached to a 38.1 mm yellow ribbon with 3.2 mm red strips on both sides.
The Grand Knight of Valour award was created on 29th July 1960 and gazetted on 11 August 1960.
